Procedures

TRAINING

Hospitality Management students are encouraged to gain experience with world class hotels that relates directly to their education program and future career goals. Six months Industrial Training in all the core areas (i.e Front Office, House Keeping, Food & Beverage Services, Food & Beverage Production) is a mandatory part of the education process of the students at the institute. The students are prepared from the day one for their life in the Hospitality Industry. It is advisable that the students take the knowledge imparted to them during their studies at the institute seriously to excel in the industry.

STEP 1:-  Grooming the students as per Hospitality Industry Grooming Standards. (A part of the daily routine as well) 

STEP 2:- Developing the students resume.

STEP 3:- Preparing the students for Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

STEP 4:- Preparing of Training Report, Medical Fitness Certificate, obtaining Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Claim (Insurance).

STEP 5:- Appearing for the Interviews for the Industrial training (In person at the hotel/through Skype/Telephonic)

STEP 6:- On successfully clearing the interviews obtaining the No Objection Certificate from the institute.

STEP 7:- Reaching the city and place of training at least two days in advance so that arrangements for accommodation and other necessary arrangements can be made.

STEP 8:- Reporting on time on the day of Joining of the training as per the guidelines of the hotel.

STEP 9:- To be present daily for the training and complete all the tasks assigned. To obey to the seniors. To respect and honour each and every person of the hotel. Day offs are provided to the students by the hotel, any leave without the information and permission of the hotel Training Department will call for strict disciplinary action against the students. Filling training Log Book on regular basis and getting it signed by the concerned supervisor.

STEP 10:- On successful completion of the six months of training, obtaining clearance from the Training Department, Collecting the training certificate.

STEP 11:- Within 15 days of completion of the Industrial Training reporting to the college along with the filled and signed training log book, training certificate and updated resume (soft copy).

 

THE STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO START THEIR ON JOB TRAINING/ JOB WITHIN A MONTH OF COMPLETION OF THEIR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING. THE COLLEGE PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ON JOB TRAINING/ JOB AS PER THEIR AREA OF INTEREST.
